Meet the Assistant Lighthouse Keeper 2022-2024

Hannah Cornell is a senior English major with a concentration in Creative and Professional Writing at Shippensburg University. She also has minors in Women’s and Gender Studies and History. She currently serves as the Associate Editor of First Light: The Online Journal of Exceptional High School Writing and has been Associate Editor, Head Prose Editor, and Associate Prose Editor of Shippensburg University’s literary journal, The Reflector, in the past three years. She was chosen as Shippensburg University's 2023-2024 Outstanding English Major and has been published several times in Shippensburg University’s academic journal, Write the Ship, as well as in The Reflector for her poetry and photography. She was also published in the first edition of First Light and won the Spectrum Award for High Artistic Achievement for her poem, "The White Girl."
